Puerh is a city used to be the tea distribution centre of the Yunnan Province. As time went by, we regarded the tea from Puerh City as Puerh Tea.
Puerh Tea is a post-fermented tea, there are two types of Puerh Tea:
1) Raw Puerh (naturally fermented)
2) Cooked/Ripe Puerh (process fermented)
This disc uses the tea leaves from the south-west puerh tea area in LaoBanZhang village, in the Meng-Hai district.
Puerh Tea from BanZhang is regarded as the King of the Puerh Tea by its intense flavour and fast transfer from bitterness to sweetness in your mouth. Long and deep aftertast on both sides of tongue and very comfortable throat feel.
