Description
Mansong Wangzi Mountain(Prince Mt.), located in Menghai, Xishuangbanna, is regarded as one of the most prestigious origins of Pu’er tea. Historically known as “Royal Tribute Tea (贡茶)”, tea from this region was once selected exclusively for imperial use during the Qing Dynasty.
Ancient tea trees here grow in deep forests at high elevation, nourished by mist, old soil rich in minerals, and a naturally balanced ecosystem. The tea is renowned for its elegant, soft yet powerful character—with a clear golden liquor, refined aroma, sweet returning aftertaste (回甘), and long-lasting throat feel (生津).
Mansong tea is subtle rather than aggressive; its charm lies not in intensity, but in clarity, finesse, and noble temperament. A true connoisseur’s tea—rare, sought-after, and treasured for its quiet depth and historical prestige.
