Red Tea / Black Tea


Chinese Red Tea ( English call it black tea) is a fully-oxidized tea.

Chinese Red tea can be produced in all tea areas; and each tea area’s red tea will have its own characteristics including its shape, smell, taste and its health benefits. And most of “area red tea” can be named as “Gong Fu” red tea.

There are 3 main types of red tea:

  • Gong Fu Red Tea(GFRT): there are more than 10 different GFRT in China. We normally named them by their area.
  • Souchong Red Tea: small leaves and mainly indicates red tea from Wuyi Mt
  • Broken leaves: mainly for commercial use to blend for flavoured teas.

On strengthening and warming the stomach, balancing gastric acids, it does better than other teas.
