White Tea

WHITE TEA

White tea is a lightly oxidized tea.

White tea only grows in the north of the Fujian Province, mainly from the FuDing and ZhengHe area. MY Teahouse only has supplied White Tea from the ZhengHe from 2008.

We have all spring harvest teas including Silver Needle ( just one tip picked from first tip in early spring), Peony King ( mainly 1 tip + 1 leaf ); White Peony ( mainly 1 tip + 2 leaves); and one autumn harvest is Golden Peony.

White tea only has withering and drying in the making process. With the least steps compared to the other type of teas, the tea maker needs to have more experience and skill to make a good white tea.

White Tea can be aged, and old white tea bring us a more mature taste.

On anti-oxidants and cooling the blood’s flame, we believe white tea does better than the others.
