Online Tea Course

A Three-Session Introduction to Tea Brewing

We are preparing to launch MY Teahouse’s online tea course via Zoom.
Designed for those who wish to build a clear and practical understanding of Chinese tea brewing, this course is conducted in a small-group format and centred on practice and clarity rather than complexity.

Schedule:
Sundays, 11:00am – 12:00pm (Sydney Time)
Three sessions, each one hour in duration.

The course follows a rolling format, with a new cohort commencing on the first Sunday of each month and continuing for three consecutive weeks.

Course Focus

The course explores the brewing logic of green tea, white tea, oolong tea, and black tea — including water temperature judgement, leaf-to-water ratio, pouring rhythm, and how to sense and adjust during the brewing process.

We do not emphasise complicated techniques, but rather understanding and repetition, allowing each cup of tea to become more stable and composed over time.

What Is Included

Each enrolled participant will receive:

  • A foundational tea ware set valued at AUD 200

  • A tea sample collection valued at AUD 158Eight Immortals

The tea ware set includes essential brewing vessels to support continued practice beyond the course.
The Eight Immortals collection contains eight distinct teas (two portions of each), used throughout the sessions for guided brewing and comparison.
