From the mountains of Baiying Shan in Lincang, Yunnan, this distinctive puerh is produced from carefully selected leaves harvested from cultivated ancient tea trees more than 400 years old. These trees first took root during the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty, a time when Chinese porcelain and silk were reaching distant shores through expanding maritime trade. got gifted this tea in my order and a letter asking for my thoughts, ive never written a review on anything and ive never had chinese tea untill a month ago, So sorry if im doing this wrong, ill try to keep it short.
The smell if this tea is incredible, its super fruity and almost juicy, its hard to describe fully but it smells almost medicinal and when wet it kinda smelled like vanilla, the taste is simallar in the first few steeps, it then mellows and tastes almost metallic, minerally and zesty in a way. The experience of this tea was very intresting and im looking foward to trying more tea on here. thank you for the gift my teahouse i really enjoyed this tea.
