Golden Peony, is very different to other white teas.
1) the tea leaves are not picked from white tea tea trees but from the oolong tea trees.
2) Golden Peony is an autumn harvest, not a spring harvest.
MY Teahouse started to compress the Golden Peony into discs from 2014.

Colour: It shows dark green and light green with few grey colour tip in between.
Shape: compressed into disc from mainly full leaves and some tips and stems .
Size: 357 g disc
Smell: between dry fruit and sweet Chinese medicine fragrant
Taste: sweet with a bit ginseng  flavour
Teaware: Gaiwan and clay teapot.
some tea lovers like to cook/boil the aged tea as well.

Remarks golden peony is very good for throat problems.

White tea is a lightly oxidized tea.

White tea only grows in the north of the Fujian Province, mainly from the FuDing and ZhengHe area. MY Teahouse only has supplied White Tea from the ZhengHe for the last 14 years.

For better storage of the tea, we normally compress it into discs. This saves storage space and reduces the fragrance lost from the tea.
