TaoHuaShan Raw Puerh Tea Series 桃花山古树普洱茶系列

$400.00

TaoHuaShan is located in the mountainous region of Fengqing, Lincang, sharing the same ecological environment as the world’s oldest known tea tree (over 3,200 years old).

The mountains are veiled in mist throughout the year, with a mild climate and rich soil, providing stable and pure conditions for the growth of ancient tea trees.

Through long-term practice, MY Teahouse has found that Sydney’s clean air, along with its climate and humidity, offers a natural compatibility with the ageing of puerh.
The teas in this set have been stored in Sydney, developing along a quieter and more gradual path of transformation, distinct from traditional producing regions.

This set brings together TaoHuaShan old tree raw puerh from seven consecutive years (2016–2022), with two infusions from each year, totalling fourteen.

Rather than comparing quality, it offers a way to experience how puerh evolves over time —
each year reflecting a different stage within the same continuum.

This is not a selection of teas, but a study of time through tea.

Description

This set includes two infusions from each year between 2016 and 2022, offering a simple way to explore how raw puerh evolves over time.

It is intended for those with an interest in puerh to taste across years, observe changes, and develop a deeper understanding through direct experience.

Teas from 2023, 2024, and 2025 have since been completed, and are available as individual two-infusion selections within the TaoHuaShan series.
The 2026 harvest has also been made and is currently awaiting pressing, with arrival in Sydney expected around July.

The series is intended to continue through to 2029, forming an extended body of work over time.

Each infusion is approximately 8–8.3g.
