Description
Ancient (1000+years) Hybrid Single Tree Raw Puerh
- Leaf: Dark green leaves with a natural sheen, showing little bud and a number of slender stems. The leaves resist tight rolling, preserving their broad form and remarkable resilience. Once infused, they unfold into a vivid green, displaying the vitality of an ancient mountain tree.
- Liquor: Bright, clear light pale yellow-green.
- Aroma: The dry leaves are elegant and understated, with gentle sweetness and subtle grassy notes. The aroma lingering in the empty cup is deeper and more layered, carrying lasting floral and fruity nuances.
- Taste: Exceptionally smooth, with sweetness emerging almost immediately and virtually no bitterness. Compared with the younger tree, the liquor gains greater structure and depth while remaining gentle and refined. A lingering fragrance stays pleasantly on the palate long after each infusion.
- Infusions: Approximately 12–18 infusions with light brewing, or 8–12 infusions when brewed stronger.
- Recommended Teaware: Porcelain Gaiwan or Yixing Clay Teapot.
