Description
1500+ Years Ancient Wild Tree Pu-erh Tea
From the remote mountains of Baiying Shan in Lincang, Yunnan, this rare Pu-erh is crafted from wild ancient tea trees more than 1,500 years old.
These trees first took root during China’s Northern and Southern Dynasties period, an era of division, migration, and cultural transformation. At the same time, the classical world of Europe was gradually giving way to the early Middle Ages, while new cultural and religious traditions were beginning to shape the future of Eurasia.
Having endured fifteen centuries of natural evolution, these ancient trees continue to thrive in their untouched mountain environment, drawing strength from generations of uninterrupted growth.
The tea is composed and understated, offering depth without force and persistence without excess. Its character unfolds gradually through successive infusions, revealing a quiet confidence shaped by time.
A living witness to one and a half millennia of change, this tea reflects the enduring relationship between nature, time, and resilience.
