Description
Ancient (2200+years) Hybrid Single Tree Raw Puerh
- Leaf: Dark green leaves with a natural sheen, showing very little bud and a number of slender stems. Even after rolling, the leaves retain their broad natural form, revealing the remarkable toughness inherited through centuries of natural evolution. Once infused, they unfold into a brilliant fresh green, appearing almost as if they had just been picked from the tree.
- Liquor: Bright, crystal-clear pale yellow-green.
- Aroma: The dry leaves are understated, carrying gentle sweetness with subtle grassy notes. The empty cup reveals an exceptionally rich and enduring aroma, where elegant floral and fruity notes remain vividly present even after the eighth infusion.
- Taste:From the very first sip, the liquor fills the entire palate with remarkable ease. There is virtually no bitterness; instead, a natural sweetness emerges immediately, supported by quiet strength and remarkable depth. What distinguishes this ancient tree is not intensity alone, but extraordinary refinement. The liquor possesses an exceptionally fine texture, spreading effortlessly across the tongue and cheeks with almost weightless precision, creating a silky, enveloping sensation rarely encountered in younger trees. Its fragrance lingers gracefully throughout the mouth, while the sweetness continues to develop long after each sip, leaving a calm yet powerful finish.
- Infusions: Approximately 15–25 infusions with light brewing, or 12–18 infusions when brewed stronger.
- Recommended Teaware: Porcelain Gaiwan or Yixing Clay Teapot.
