Description
400+ Years Ancient Cultivated Tree Pu-erh Tea
From the mountains of Baiying Shan in Lincang, Yunnan, this Pu-erh is produced from cultivated ancient tea trees more than 400 years old.
These trees first took root during the Ming Dynasty, around the Wanli era. Chinese porcelain and craftsmanship were reaching distant shores through maritime trade, while growing connections between East and West were beginning to reshape the world.
Over four centuries of careful cultivation and natural growth, these trees have become part of a living agricultural tradition passed down through generations.
The tea is approachable yet refined, offering balance, sweetness, and consistency. It reflects not only the character of the trees themselves, but also the accumulated experience of those who have cared for them.
A quiet expression of continuity, connecting traditional cultivation with the present day.
