Puerh is a city used to be the tea distribution centre of the Yunnan Province, as time went by, we regarded the tea from Puerh City as Puerh Tea.
Puerh Tea is a post-fermented tea, there are two types of Puerh Tea:
1) Raw Puerh (natural fermented)
2) Cooked/Ripe Puerh (process fermented)
HeKai village, is located at South-West of puerh tea area in MengHai district. HeKai tea area is one of the biggest old tea tree gardens in the world. In more than 1450 acres tea garden, there are more than 2million 100~600 years old tea trees grow between 1400~1700 meters altitude continually.
The tea from HeKai village shows bright dark colour for its dry leaves, it tastes a bit strong and rich with a bit dry as well; very long aftertaste with full wild forest feeling.
