Puerh Tea is a post-fermented tea, there are two types of Puerh Tea:
1) Raw Puerh (natural fermented)
2) Cooked/Ripe Puerh (process fermented)
MangZhi, is located at North-East of XiShuangBanNa area. This mountain is one of the 6 famous ancient tea mountains from thousand years ago. This area used to be the tea distribution centre with few thousand families live in this area and live from tea industry in the olden time; then because of the brawl between them, the tea trees and industries had been destroyed seriously; there are only less than 10 families stay in the mountain around 1949. From 1980’s, the old tea tree gardens had been reused again.
The raw puerh tea from MangZhi, has long aftertaste, high fragrance and salivas comes very fast.
