Puerh is a city used to be the tea distribution centre of the Yunnan Province. As time went by, we regarded the tea from Puerh City as Puerh Tea.
Puerh Tea is a post-fermented tea, there are two types of Puerh Tea:
1) Raw Puerh (naturally fermented)
2) Cooked/Ripe Puerh (process fermented)
DaXueShan(Big Snow Mountain), is located at the border of Shuangjiang and Gengma district. It is one of the original area of old tea trees. This MingYe Old Tree puerh, is using the tea leaves from Daxueshan which is above 2000meters altitude, and hand made with traditional process.
Puerh tea from Daxueshan is getting more famous and the price is getting higher and higher as well from 2012
