Puerh is a city used to be the tea distribution centre of the Yunnan Province, as time went by, we regarded the tea from Puerh City as Puerh Tea.
Puerh Tea is a post-fermented tea, there are two types of Puerh Tea:
1) Raw Puerh (natural fermented)
2) Cooked/Ripe Puerh (process fermented)
KunLu Mt. is located at North-East of puerh area in NingEr District. This mountain is famous by it has a royal tea garden from Qing Dynasty. In the Royal Tea Garden, there are many old tea trees over 500 years old and some over 1000 years old. Tea from this Royal Tea Garden can be sold as 50K rmb/kg which is about AUD12k/kg in the mountain, and may at least double the price out of the mountain.
MY Teahouse serve the tea from KunLu Mt. is very close to this Royal Tea Garden but with the very reasonable price.
